Eastern MacDonnell Range Aerial Panorama

An aerial panoramic image of the Eastern MacDonnell Range.

I captured this image some years ago using a Linhof Technorama Panoramic Film Camera, and taken from an old helicopter with a bubble canopy. The bubble canopy is permanently open at the sides, and the pilot instructed me not to let anything fly out of the helicopter, as it may hit & shatter the rotors. Needless to say, changing film rolls in the helicopter was a nerve-wracking experience as strong winds gusted through the cabin throughout the flight...
